Blog Awards Ireland 2015 - Mind The Baby

Full on narcissism

So I’m going to pretend to act all cool and nonchalant about it, but you may have noticed that I have a small trophy wall of sorts over here on the left hand side of my blog.

In reality, it’s more of a shrine to “always the bridesmaid, never the bride”, but I will admit I am a little proud to have been in the final of Blog Awards Ireland for three years in a row, as well as the fantabulous inaugural Irish Parenting Blog Awards

The first year I was in the lifestyle category, much to my amusement – and best newcomer too. The following year I was in the personal blog category. Last year was the first year they had a parenting category where I was robbed graciously defeated by the wonderful and very much deserving Mama.ie

Well it’s awards time again, and in some weird full circle thingy, I’m back on the shortlist of the lifestyle category of Blog Awards Ireland 2015, in fantastic company with my lovely friend Kate Takes 5. There’s a bunch of other people who actually have lives there too, so once again I’m highly amused at the “lifestyle” categorisation. But hey! I’ll take what I can get!

Anyway, long story boring, they’ve added a public vote element to this year’s awards – which no awards organiser to date seems to have copped that bloggers HATE that, because you feel like an eejit asking for votes, like I’m doing right now.

So if you felt like it, and had five seconds, you could click on this link or on the picture below, and pick Mind The Baby and then press save. Only if you wanted now. I’d be delighted if you did. But sure no big deal if you don’t. I’m not familiar with the phrase “4th time lucky”! 😉 Tis all a bit of craic at the end of the day.

Also, if you’ve five more seconds, my business blog is shortlisted in the Best Health & Wellbeing Business Blog category if you wanted to throw an auld vote that way too? The link’s just here.

Thank you!
